Apparently, Roger Clemens–arguably the top pitcher in the majors since Sandy Koufax and Warren Spahn–was on the juice. As was Andy Pettite. This is very surprising, as Clemens and Pettite, while fierce competitors, were regarded for their values and work ethics off the field. Clemens was in the same league with Curt Schilling: hard-charging Christian-athletes. Even Jose Canseco said that Clemens was the only player he knew who never cheated on his wife.
Now, Clemens might not even get into Cooperstown.
At this time, he is denying the link to steroids, and–if the only thing linking Clemens is the word of a person who says he got them for him–perhaps he is correct. But it isn’t looking good.
However, I did not see Sammy Sosa mentioned. Or Mark McGwire.
Will they get passes to Cooperstown? I’d say the smart money is on them getting in now.

Hero Doggies!!!
Two dogs rescued a 2-year-old.
Kudos to the heroic pooches from Amir Larijani, and his two extraordinary feline children–Sneaky and Recon.
