The 4th of July is upon us. This is one of my favorite holidays. In order of preference it’s:
(1) Christmas
(2) Thanksgiving
(3) 4th of July
(4) New Year’s
(5) Valentine’s Day
Anyhow, this 4th of July it’s my great priviledge to be meal planning for two people. I have all kinds of ideas going through my head. Not only do I get to meal plan for two people, but there is also my church’s 4th of July picnic. Anyone who’s anyone (and in town) is there. I get to bring 1 dish.
My dilemma: What dish to bring?? And just one???? What about two?? Please!?!
My favorite cooking blog featured this today. But I already have bought things for something else. And for this all I have to do is buy cookies and cool whip. I have the other stuff.
So, what say you people? Should I force Amir to do an extra 3 hours on the elliptical this week? (And myself to walk an extra 10 miles)
Cooking is my favorite. It brings great joy to my heart to have Amir sitting on the couch while I’m havin’ tons o’ fun in the kitchen. (That sounds bad, but I want him to be relaxed and resting. He works very hard. I see it as my job to make sure he’s served well.)
