If that story is true, then the football program needs to get the death penalty. Immediately.
The FBI needs to be doing the investigation. Each member of the board of trustees needs to resign. All administrators connected to the football program need to be fired and put on notice that they are under investigation.
If the story is true and Paterno WASN’T in the know, then–trust me–they did Paterno a great favor by firing him. This is because when the shit REALLY hits the fan, he won’t want to be within a hundred miles of Happy Valley.
If the story is true and Paterno WAS in the know, then Paterno–along with a whole host of personnel–need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
