Early Morning Phone Call

Got a phone call from a dear friend this morning who I haven’t heard from in over a year. She’s the kind of friend where, when we talk, it’s like we never skipped a day or a breath … except this time.

She texted me first: “Can you call me?”

“Hey Girl!”

“Sorry it’s been so long. I didn’t want to burden you. First, my divorce was final beginning of this year … … … he’d met this woman online … … … they’d been seeing each other for three years … … … he hit me several times over the years … … …”

Her older two kids are the ages of mine. Her youngest will begin first grade this year. She needed some advice. I.am.heartbroken.

Sheesh, people!!! Keep your pants zipped and your panties on!!! We are sick and tired of all you husbands and wives screwing around on your spouses in the name of whatever the heck you create to justify your actions! YOU.ARE.KILLING.YOUR.KIDS!!!!!

GROW.UP!!!

And here’s a shocker for you ….. NOOOOOOO!!!!!!! He is NOT perfect! She is NOT perfect! Get over it! You aren’t perfect either!

  1. They are not just screwing up their children’s lives, they are stoking cynicism among those inside and outside the Church.

The marital covenant–which is supposed to reflect Christ’s relationship with the Church–gets reduced to economics and orgasms.
