The law in Texas says teachers cannot have sex with their students. Period. That’s pretty simple.
I’m very sorry she has three kids who need her, but she should have thought about that when she was entertaining her students in her own home.
People … you do not get a “Get Out of Jail Free” card simply because you have kids. Because you have kids should have been reason enough to choose NOT to do the things that can get you there to begin with.
She should consider herself fortunate that she was sentenced to just five years, and according to the story she’ll be eligible for parole in as little as one year.

the group sex … that the students didn’t think they were victims … that husband and wife think group sex is normal … all of it.

my husband was reading this first. he would read a part and say, “Oh my word! You’re not going to believe this!” and then he’d read the next part and tell me more … and it just kept going on and on that way. unfreakinbelievable.
then when i pulled it up online, i saw the “save-the-mom-for-the-poor-kids” piece and couldn’t believe it … as though having kids is a “get-out-of-jail-free” card to do anything you want and still get to stay home b/c your kids need you?
it’s because your kids need you that you shouldn’t have done it in the first place.
and then … if she and her husband practice group sex as normal, who’s the daddy? sick sick sick
