DNC vd. GOP: Obamination vs. McNutball

Obama, to no one’s surprise, swept the Virginia, Maryland, and DC primaries last night. Ditto for McCain.

Unless McCain has a “macaca” moment a la former Senator George Allen, he’ll be the torchbearer for the GOP. And he will torch himself before the election.

As for Obama, I still think The Broad will make a big comeback. Never, EVER bet against Hillary.

  1. At least John McCain’s victory in Virginia was somewhat underwhelming. I’m no fan of Mike Huckabee either, but his strong showing in the Old Dominion indicates McCain’s support is still weak with the GOP base.

As for “macaca” moments, is there anyone else besides me who’s angry with the mainstream media for relentlessly hounding George Allen while giving Robert Byrd a pass for using the “n-word?”

  2. Singleman: I absolutely agree with you with respect to that double standard. Byrd gets a pass, as does Jesse “Hymietown” Jackson and Al “Tawana Brawley” Sharpton. And yet Trent Lott was all but run out of town for a few jests made at Strom Thurmond’s 100th birthday party.
