There is a t-shirt that I’ve seen on sale inside the Flint, MI mall: “I’m so tough, I vacation in Flint”.
I have wanted to buy because up until this year, any “vacation” time was used to go home.
It’s nice to be able to say “#1 Most Dangerous City – 1 1/2 hours south. #3 – 15 minutes north of home stompin’ grounds.”
And people try to convince me walking around the streets of Chattanooga at night is dangerous . . . I always “LOL”.
the dad of the kids i’m keeping is a police officer in a very low city. he pulled over a man for speeding the other night who was also, well, addressing his other perceived needs while driving over 70mph. the man was offended and not very positively receptive to receiving a speeding tkt, and the officer told him he ought to be glad he wasn’t being arrested for lude conduct, too.
i can’t imagine … and do not want to … what police officers are exposed to!
I know this is “humor” and you are saying this (somewhat) tongue-in-cheek.
. . .
*shakes head out of a lack of words*
I hear ya. I spent 10 weeks in Detoilet during my days with EDS. Hated it.
I’ll say this much, though: outside of Detoilet, it isn’t that bad.

Obama gave $1 million to Muammar Gadaffi (sp?). People need to get hip to this guy!
oh. my. word.

More proof that Michigan has just as many rednecks as a trailer park in the south:
(carefully read the 3rd paragraph and tell me what you come up with)

Wait, nevermind, I didn’t read carefully enough.
. . . I still wouldn’t have been surprised if my interpretation had been correct.
Carrie: You live in Flint? Saginaw/Bridgeport is my home stomping grounds!
That is, you _lived_ in Flint?
Just south of Flint, but much closer to Flint than Detroit.
